Disappointment

The doctor called last week. He wants to start a handful of patients at the same time for ease of keeping up with everyone. I thought it sounded like a good idea, too. However, we aren't going to start until January 30! That is the frustrating part. I want to get this going.

The Paxil was cut back to 10 mg a day. It seems to be working for me. I can't believe how relaxed I am now. I could have used it a few months ago...

I'm not sure I agree with your doctor's plan to start 10 people on treatment at the same time, but I'm happy that he has 10 Hep C patients. There were times at my GI's office, when I felt sure that I was the only Hep C patient - I was the only one who threw little fits when the doctor was late and threatened to lie down on the floor unless they moved me into a treatment room.
Anyway relax! Your viral load is very low, one of the lowest I've ever heard of. Make sure you have a PCR after you've had 4 weeks of treatment - that's 4 shots and 28 days of pills, but before you take shot #5. That will tell you if you're a Rapid Viral Responder (and therefore, more likely to beat this bug). If you have any questions, I have a link to the online support group I belong to on my blog - it's called the Nomads. My name there is MYS
I'm so happy your church group was supportive. I knew about my Hep C status for about 8 years before I started treatment. Once, at lunch, I heard a man who was the choirmaster at his church say negative things about a member of his church who had Hep C and was going through a rough time on treatment.
Now is the time when you'll find out exactly how good your health insurance is!
